Anthony Fasthorse and Micah Grossman, both juniors at Ventura High in California, finished fourth and fifth in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 boys cross country final at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Fasthorse covered the 2.93-mile layout in 14:57.3 and Grossman clocked 14:58.6 for Ventura, which placed second overall behind Newbury Park by a 25-90 margin, as both teams advanced to the Nov. 26 state final at Woodward Park in Fresno.
